HR management is crucial in any company. HR professionals are responsible for bringing the right candidates in and filtering out the wrong ones. If a company has a weak HR team, it will likely suffer from poor results. HR is the most important frontline staff in any organization, regardless of the position or company.CEO and top management should carefully select their HR managers. Often, HR managers are hired based on connections, references, or misjudgment, rather than their qualifications. The candidates don’t interact with the CEO directly; instead, they experience the HR team as their first point of contact.

As individuals gain more experience and intellectual capacity, their tolerance for poor HR practices decreases. If an HR manager appears unprofessional, irritating, or mismanaged, high-quality candidates may leave the company, which is not ideal. Companies should aim for HR managers who have a strong judgment of character to ensure the company thrives.Top companies like Google and Facebook understand this pattern and select high-quality people. Remember, employees leave jobs where they are mistreated. Companies with high turnover rates are often those that continuously annoy employees to the point of them leaving based on emotional responses.

HR managers need to understand what makes a company successful and what undermines it. Unfortunately, many HR professionals do not realize when their recruitment decisions harm the company’s brand. If the employees they recruit do not contribute to the company’s growth, the brand suffers, leading to potential downsizing.A good employee is typically someone who maintains a neutral attitude—neither overly nice nor disrespectful. They should have confidence and not present a fake personality. High-quality employees bring additional skills and ideas to the workplace, but if HR does not recognize this talent, these individuals may start their own companies and build empires, potentially creating the same kind of talent they were initially overlooked for.HR’s role is vital. Big companies like Google and Facebook excel because they recognize and nurture talent, leading to low employee turnover and high satisfaction. In contrast, small companies often fail to grow because they mistreat employees or put undue pressure on them.

A good HR team creates a positive work environment, which is essential for company growth. Misbehaviors by employees, such as police officers, often reflect poor HR hiring practices rather than individual faults. For every company doing the same things, the results are unlikely to be different.
